Outdoor Summer Music: Just Getting Started

Two venues have Summer 2022 music series underway and several more should announce their lineups in the next few weeks.

Canyon Crest Towne Centre is three shows into their Summer Just Got Cooler Concert Series with Double Shot playing tonight.

Further up the hill it's the Summer Acoustic Patio Series at Romano's Mission Grove featuring Alexis Magaña & David James on the patio Saturday night.

I'm keeping an eye on The Riverside Plaza, The City of Riverside, and University Village. The Plaza and The City both had shows last year and University Village has yet to resume their series that had its most recent run in 2019.

TUESDAY MAY 17 7:00PM: Double Shot | Canyon Crest Towne Centre, 5225 Canyon Crest Dr | free | all ages
SATURDAY MAY 21 8:00PM: Alexis Magaña & David James (Riverside, acoustic pop) | Romano's Mission Grove, 285 E Alessandro Bl, (951) 780-7399

The Stars Align: Patrick Maloney hosting Open Mics at Three Venues

I'm not sure what we're all doing right but the Riverside Open Mic will happen at no less than three venues this week.

Last Wednesday's event at Back To The Grind had to be moved at the last minute to Euryale Brewing Company and it looks like it was a good night.

Tonight, Patrick will host at The Hideaway with the Mic open to music and comedy for those 21 and older.

Wednesday, he's at Back To The Grind for a music only night open to all ages.

Thursday, it's open mic and karaoke at Euryale Brewing Company–all ages.
